The Oldham-Ramona School Board of
Education met in special session at
7:00 p.m. at the school.
Present were Lisa Beyer, Janelle Dinges, Larry Malcomb, Mike Matson, and
Chandra Waikel. Others present were Jay
Hojer, Doug Tonsager, Dick Amert, Don Halverson, Glenn Albers, John Bjorkman,
and GayLynn Hagemann. Chairman Beyer,
who established a quorum was present, called the meeting to order. Unless noted all decisions were unanimous.
The board discussed
the duties of a construction manager.
Hiring a construction manager has been tabled at this time until the
board receives the results of the school inspection that is to be completed on
June 8th.
Health insurance
quotes were received from three health insurance providers. There will be a staff meeting at 1:30 p.m. on
Thursday, May 26th to inform the staff of the possible change.
Action #2908: Motion by Dinges, seconded by Waikel to go
into executive session at 8:00 p.m. to discuss a student issue and
administrative evaluations. Chairman
Beyer declared the board out of executive session at 9:39 p.m.
Action #2909: Motion by Malcomb, seconded by Matson to
offer administrative contracts.
The next meeting of the board is scheduled
for Monday, June 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the school resource room.
Action #2910: Motion by Dinges, seconded by Malcomb to
adjourn at
9:42 p.m.
